A blister pack is a simple way to organise your medication by day and time. Each pack covers 7 days and comes in either 2 or 4 time slots per day, depending on your needs. It makes it easier to keep track of what to take and when.
The service costs £5 per week, billed every four weeks (£20 total).
The NHS does not fund blister packs. The £20 covers the cost of packaging and the time it takes to safely prepare your medication into blister packs.
No. If you’re exempt from paying for NHS prescriptions, nothing changes. If you usually pay, that still applies — the £20 is just for the blister pack service.
